...Welcome to the Racy World of Crossville is a multi-media pop-up event featuring the paper art and installation works of Crossville, with super sounds provided by DJ Kamikaze of Shelter, Shanghai, and 3-time China DMC champion DJ Wordy of Hotpot, Beijing. Transforming the Red Dot Museum into a pop-up club with a phat sound system, a pop-up exhibition smokin' space and a full on bar by the crew from Stereolab. Expect to see some big, red and fast fff-Formula One cars poppin’ up too...

...The man behind Crossville, Sharim Gubbels, is a Dutch artist and designer based in Singapore. Wanting to explore a more tangible art form outside of his world of two dimensional digital art, Gubbels crossed over to the 3D platform using paper as a medium, specializing in intricately designed and hand-constructed display toys and sculptures. Right at the footsteps of paper artist pioneer Shin Tanaka, Gubbels jumped right into the paper art world collaborating with notable international artists such as Tado (tado.com.uk) , Jon Burgerman and Gaston Caba. This will be Gubbel’s first installation in Singapore...
